About Tech22

Tech22 GmbH is a pioneering AI startup situated at the crossroads of three major technological trends: artificial intelligence, sensors, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Established in August 2023 by Oliver Völckers in Berlin, the company embodies a dynamic fusion of these fields.

Oliver pursued his computer science studies at the Technical University of Berlin, culminating in his diploma thesis centered on pattern recognition for natural language processing. His journey led him to serve as a product manager at Biotronik, a leading producer of electronic medical implants. Subsequently, he took on the role of program manager at IEE in Luxembourg, the world's largest manufacturer of FSR sensors that govern airbag functionality in automobiles.

The creation of BeST Berliner Sensortechnik GmbH marked a pivotal moment. Here, in collaboration with Jonas Remmert from Phytec Messtechnik GmbH, Oliver Völckers developed an IoT wastewater-monitoring system that now operates with high-speed ICE trains at Deutsche Bahn. Oliver's contributions have been recognized with over twenty granted patents spanning the realm of sensors and signal interpretation. TRAIS, the transparent AI, stands as Oliver's latest groundbreaking innovation.
